It’s on, Michael Ansah aka One Bullet takes on the national Lightweight champion Sherif Quaye on March 8 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in a 12 round battle for the vacant WBO Lightweight Africa interim title.

Officially Box office Promotions announced their up coming bout loaded with exciting fixtures on the night at Bukom Square on Thursday January 17.

After a short address to the public by Nathaniel Attoh a renowned ring announcer, Alex Ntiamoah-Boakye who is the manager of Box Office Promotions reckon that he was motivated to put this fight together by the euphoria, argument and words of war that has characterized the fight between the two boxers after their first encounter.

“One Bullet” Ansah, 29 (15-9-2, 10 KOs) who looked calm and pensive had this to say. “I salute Alex Ntiamoah for this opportunity to prove to everybody that Sheriff is no match for me. I have not been sleeping ever since I lost to him on ASAMOAH GYAN Fight Night One held in October 20, 2018. I will stop Sheriff in round 3 come March 8 and will only urge my supporters to come early catch every bit of the action”.

Sheriff Quaye (16-1-1, 9KO) comes into the fight as the obvious favourite

‘One Bullet’ Ansah had earlier said he was thankful to God for not being stopped in our last encounter and that he will take over the national Lightweight belt after I have left. Anyway, God never makes mistake. I will beat you as many times we meet in the ring”. Stated Sheriff.

The night will see George Ashie taking on Michael Nyawade of Kenya for the ABU Lightweight title, with Joshua clottey locking horns with Mfaume Mfaume of Tanzania in a 10 round contest, Maxwell Awuku with a yet to be announced opponent. Felix Ajom and Prince Dzanie will be fighting on the night with equally yet to be announced opponents.
