Former WBO Super Bantamweight world champion, Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe, in quest for a come back, has been training and keeping fit in Long Beach, California, together with his coach.

In an exclusive interview with Red Gloves News’ Alex Ruiz, the former world champ hinted of a come back either in June or July with a yet to be named opponent.
“What I know is that we’ve been given either ending of June or mid July so we’re looking forward to that. We don’t know who I’ll be facing just yet, right now it’s up to my team and my promoters.”

When quizzed on which weight division the Royal Storm is going to focus on, he had this to say
“I see myself winning another belt very soon, it could be any weight. It’s either someone is going to pull out of a fight, and they’re going to call Isaac Dogboe and I’m just gonna go out there and just knockout the person out, or it could be that I’ll just take the fights that will come and someone might overlook me and just spit out that “he just lost two fights”, yeah so who knows, but I see myself becoming a 2X world champion.”

He concluded with a goodwill message to all his fans
“Watch out for the Royal Storm, Isaac Dogboe, 2020 is not yet over, I know there’re a lot of uncertainty due to the covid19 pandemic, but I just want to tell everyone that they should stay focused, keep praying and keep strong and more of it. The year is not over, great things are still yet to come, so everyone should just be focused and enjoy themselves, they shouldn’t worry too much about covid19 and protect themselves.”
