Chief Executive Officer of BabyJet Promotions Abraham Kotei Neequaye has promised to do everything possible to secure their flagship boxer Emmanuel Tagoe the world title by June 2019.
“For us as BabyJet promotions, our prime focus as far as Emmanuel Tagoe is concern is the ultimate. We know the kind of boxer we have in our stables and the strong brand that compliments, we’ve not finished the job yet. We moved him (Emmanuel Tagoe ) to the WBO number eight. We’ve moved him to the IBF number twelve. We’ve secured for him a promotional deal with DiBella Entertainment and we are on course. Until we find a world title we have not finished with the brand that we have in Emmanuel Tagoe. You understand me? So, we are still focused. ” Neequaye told BoxingGhana.com’s Samuel Ofosuhene.
The first vice president of the Ghana Boxing Authority is very clear in his mind on his obligations and has therefore decided to remain focused in his quest to honour his pent up ambition and goal of securing the world title for his boxer Emmanuel Tagoe, the promotional hub BabyJet Promotions and ultimately the good people of Ghana.
“So, for me, I have a focus, to make Emmanuel Tagoe a world champion by June- next year.” Neequaye Stated.
Emmanuel Tagoe is set to make his first defence of the strap he won against former world titlist Moses Paulus in October via a UD against Russian Vycheslav Gusev (25-5, 8 KOs) billed on Saturday the 26 of January 2019 at the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra – Ghana.
