I can never forgive him (Deontay Wilder) nor will I ever forget. – Dominic Breazeale

A melee which had the backing of Deontay Wilder back in 2017, involving Dominic Breazeale and Team Wilder has ensured that their next fight is more of a grudge or betterstill settling personal scores.

On May 18 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, both Wilder and Breazeale are promising fire works, but for Breazeale, it’s more about respect and redeeming his family’s image.

“I can’t wait to get my hands on him. What he did in Alabama in front of my family, I can never forgive him for nor will I ever forget.

“Even after the incident in Alabama, he continued to bring my sons into it.

I intend to make him pay come May 18th and shut him up once and for all.

“One of the reasons I moved camp was to ensure I was in the best shape possible and I’m already there.

“Virgil has prepared me well and 10 days can’t come fast enough.”

In 2017, when Wilder made the fifth successful defence of his WBC title knocking out Gerald Washington in five rounds in his home of Alabama, coincidentally, Dominic was equally fighting as an undercard on that bill. What is unclear is what sparked the fight which mainly involved Wilder’s cousin and Dominic Breazeale.

But the WBC heavyweight Champion is still unperturbed as he consistently attacks Breazeale and his family.

“I’m going to make sure he brings his son up on the stage to look the man in the eye that’s gonna cripple his daddy!

“I want them to look me in my eye! Because Breazeale’s whole story is so wrong, so twisted. He want people to feel sorry for him or whatever but it’s not gonna happen.”

“This guy is very nervous, I know everything that he wants to do. I know it all. He should be nervous because I don’t mean no good for him – all bad intentions.” Deontay Wilder expressed.

The bragging rights must surely go left or right for the neutrals but this fight has all the markings of greatness come next week Saturday the 18 of May, 2019.
