Former technical advisor to team Dogboe, the experienced Yoofi Boham is known for his boxing administration and impeccable boxing knowledge…So when I first watched his interview on HSTV with Samuel Ofosuhene it was a shocker the revelations that unfolded during the interview.

So When I was asked to prepare a questionnaire for him to answer by my boss, I decided to satisfy my curiosity to get better and further particulars on these lingering questions.

Que: As the technical director, how did you  advise Team Dogboe to or not to take the Navarrete fight?

Ans: I got 4th contender Thomas Patrick Ward’s management accept as challenger but Michael Altamura, the matchmaker and Paul, father/trainer over ruled me, Michael telling me they were fighting the topmost.

Que: What is your opinion on a possible match-up between Isaac Dogboe and Wasiru Mohammed?

Ans: Just like commodities, this is what the fraternity wants at the moment and it has to happen.

Wasiru is expecting the right offer as a defending champion. End of December is a suitable date.

To know that Yoofi Boham actually advised team Dogboe not to accept the Navarrete fight and yet they went ahead on that basis in it’s self is interesting as it is revealing.

“I told Paul Dogboe and Mike Altamura not to accept the Navarrete fight. I advised against the Navarrete bout, but my advice was not heeded.” Yoofi Boham revealed on the Ultimate Sports on HSTV Ghana hosted by Samuel Ofosuhene together with co-host Dennis Moore and Yussif Uthman Alhassan.

Nobody knows what the future holds, but as it is said a stitch in time saves nine.
