HABIB ‘THE HURRICANE’ AHMED TO FACE JUAN DE ANGEL ON 25TH MAY IN A MIDDLEWEIGHT CONTEST IN THE US

Ghana’s world title aspirant Habib Ahmed returns to square ring on the 25th of May, 2019 against Juan De Angel at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Biloxi, Mississippi, USA.

The 8 round Super Middleweight contest will see Ghana’s Habib Ahmed face a boxer with a reach and height advantage but has more defeats.

Juan De Angel has won 21 career bouts, 10 defeats and a solitary draw and currently rated 148 / 1,251 in the World rankings, as against his Ghanaian counterpart Habib ‘The Hurricane’ Ahmed, who has 26 victories, one drawn with his only defeat coming against the now lightweight champion Gilberto Ramirez.

Rated 269 / 1,132 by the world, the Ghanaian will be hoping to improve his ratings against a tricky customer in Juan Carlos De Angel Monterrosa famed Juan De Angel.

This is going to be the maiden fight of the Ghanaian who recently dropped from the Super Middleweight to the Middleweight and already there are bigger optimism as far as his world title ambition is concerned.

When Boxingghana.com caught up with Habib Ahmed, who is currently housed in the USA, to confirm his next fight with Juan De Angel, He stated.

“Yes it’s true, I am fighting Juan De Angel from Barranquilla, Columbia on 25th of May 2019, at the Beau Rivage Resort & Casino, Biloxi, Mississippi, USA. I am ready for this fight.” Habib expressed.
