Guinea to Host 3rd African Youth Boxing Championship from May 16 to 26, 2025
Under the high patronage of His Excellency, President of the Republic and General of the Army Corps, Mamadi Doumbouya, Guinea is set to host the 3rd Edition of the African Youth Boxing Championship. The event, organized by La Feguiboxe (Fédération Guinéenne de Boxe), will take place from May 16 to 26, 2025, at the iconic Stade du 28 Septembre in Conakry.
Backed by the International Boxing Association (IBA) and the African Boxing Confederation (AFBC), this prestigious continental event will gather Africa’s most promising young boxers for 10 days of thrilling competition. The championship reflects Guinea’s growing role in African sports and the government’s commitment to youth development through athletics.
Daily matches will begin at 2:00 PM, and fans can expect high-intensity bouts, international standards, and vibrant cultural expressions, all within an atmosphere of unity and sportsmanship.
