Gold Star Wings, a yet to be licensed Airline company has supported boxing clubs in Accra with personal protective equipments to help curb covid 19 at the various boxing gyms.
The clubs that were supported include Will Power Boxing Club, Chorkor Champs and Wisdom Boxing Gym.
The support was in the form of boxes of face shields and nose masks. The company which is yet to start operations has donated to a number of organizations around the country. According to Mr. Edwin Lamptey a cabin crew member, when the company starts operations, they will use their platform to sell Ghana to the world and boxing is one of the key avenues through which they intend to do so.
He further noted that the support given to the clubs are not a one day wonder but it’s to start a relationship that will be beneficial to both parties.
