Ghana’s Richmond Djarbeng’s last but one defeat was against Manny Pacquiao’s beater Jeff Horn in 2015 when he attempted the World Boxing Association Pan African Welter and World Boxing Organisation Oriental Welter Titles but has an opportunity to win Professional Boxing Council (PBC) World  Championship belt come 5th October at the Assassin Health & Fitness Village, Home Farm Road, Aberdeen- Scotland against Lee McAllister.

Djarbeng (29-4,23 KOs), a former World Boxing Association Pan African Welter Titlist must get past a tough opposition in Lee McAllister (43-3) former Commonwealth (British Empire) Super Light Champion.

36 year old McAllister is fully aware of the task ahead especially because of his ring rust and fighting a much younger opposition.

“This is a massive test for me as I have been out of championship fights now for more than a year.

“My previous one was a comfortable win but this will take me out of that comfort zone.

“I am expecting a hard fight as he has gone up against good boxers such as Jeff Horn who *
defeated Manny Pacquiao.

“However, my training is going well and I’m in great shape.” The self styled The Aberdeen Assassin, McAllister reiterated in an earlier interview with the evening Express.

But the Ghanaian, has other plans

“This is an opportunity, and I intend to win this bout come October the 5th.”

Scottish native, Lee McAllister is a former  International Boxing Organization International Super Light Champion and last tasted defeat against Russian Denis Shafikov who controversially defeated current IBF world champion, Richard Commey on a rebound in 2016.
