Ghana’s Prince Oko Nartey ready for James Kraft of Germany, promises victory “Trust me the belt is coming to Ghana.”

International Boxing Federation Youth Light Heavyweight Title is up for grabs as Ghana’s Prince Oko Nartey(6-0,5 KOs) squares it off against Germany’s James Kraft(15-0-1,9KOs) on Saturday the 15th of June at Work Your Champ Arena, Hamburg, Germany.

BoxingGhana’s Samuel Ofosuhene caught up with the hard working Ghanaian fighter, the pride of Somanya, enjoy the conversation;

Hello Champ, how prepared are you towards the upcoming fight and when are you leaving?

Ans: Very well prepared yeah, training is still on-going.
If God permits I will be leaving Ghana next week. Trust me the belt is coming to Ghana.

Que: How well do you know your opponent (James Kraft)

Ans: Don’t really know him, but I’ve been watching some of his old fights, so I believe that’s okay for me.

Que: What are you hoping to achieve from this fight?

Ans: You know this is a vacant title, so am focused and working so hard to achieve that yeah.

Que: Any message to your fans

Ans: To my fans, I thank them so much for believing in me and they should keep supporting PONBOXING, the future is calling!

Sanctioned by Germany’s Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer (BDB), the fight is being promoted by Universum Promotion headed by Ismael Oezen.

Prince Oko Nartey is one of Ghana’s finest promising lightweight southpaw who made his debut two years ago in 2017 and is yet to taste defeat after some back to back victories christened by knockouts.
