Ghana’s Maxwell Awuku (44-3-1, 30 KOs) will be challenging for a World title on February 10th against Mexico’s Miguel Ángel Berchelt.
Awuku will be challenging Berchelt (32-1, 28 KOs) for the latter’s WBO World super featherweight belt.
Berchelt was originally arrange to fight Carlo Magali but the Filipino pulled out of the fight, however, the brave Ghanaian has stepped in to fight the champion.
Awuku hasn’t lost in almost 3 years, his last defeat was against Daud Yordan in 2015.
The upcoming fight will be Berchelt’s second defense of his WBC World super featherweight belt.
