Ghana’s Joseph Commey in the round of 32 after drawing a bye 

Ghana’s African Games lightweight gold medallist Joseph Commey has qualified for the round of 32 after drawing a bye.

He was to fight Bajoku Shpetim from Kosovo who has however pulled out.

Commey, pictured with head coach Ofori Asare, now needs to win three more bouts to qualify for the Paris Olympics.

Meanwhile, Ghana’s light-middleweight Henry Malm meets Libya’s Mohammed Bilrrashid at 11.30am Ghana time in the round of 64.
