Former WBO junior featherweight champion, Isaac “Royal Storm” Dogboe has expressed his excitement ahead of his 10-round featherweight bout against two-time title challenger, Christopher “Pitufo” Dimiaz on November 20 at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas.

The talented Ghanaian fighter has fortified his career since suffering a back-to-back defeat in the hands of Mexican sensation Emanuel Navarrete.

Dogboe seems to have gotten his career back on track, winning his last two fights.

The Ghanaian-British fighter dispatched off Chris Avalos via TKO [Round 8] at the MGM Grand Las Vegas on July 21, 2020 before going on to beat Adam Lopez by majority decision at the Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on June 19 this year.

Speaking ahead of return to the ring on November 20, Dogboe said, “I’m excited for this challenge, a massive opportunity to get closer to becoming a two-division world champion.”

“This is a fight the fans won’t want to miss. I know Christopher is tough, but I’m stronger, tougher, and smarter.

“I’d like to commend everyone at Top Rank for making this fight possible and to Diaz for accepting the challenge.

“I always want to give the fans something to remember. That’s why I leave it all in the ring.” Dogboe added.

Dogboe’s opponent, Diaz [26-3, 16 KOs] also said that a win over Dogboe will lead him to a third shot at world title glory.

“I’m coming back, and I’m very excited about fighting on a great stage like Crawford vs. Porter. Dogboe is a solid fighter who only has two losses against Navarrete.

“We both have a lot to give to boxing. The fans already know what to expect every time I get in the ring. I’m sure this fight will steal the show on November 20.” Diaz added.
