Ghana’s Black Hitters set for 2025 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships

 

The national women’s boxing team, the Black Hitters are preparing for the 2025 IBA Women’s World Boxing Championships to be held in Niš, Serbia, from 8-17 March, 2025.

The International Boxing Association (IBA) announced that the registration period is open until 20 February 2025 and there is cash prize at stake for winners.

The Hitters who were training at the Bronx Gym included Faruza Osman, Sarah Apau, Ramatu Quaye, Janet Adjei, Janet Acquah, Nasara Fuseni, Trudy Manteaw, Anatu Mohammed, Perpetual Okaija.

Vice President of the Ghana Boxing Federation GBF and other executives have been motivating the female boxers to give an excellent performance at the tournament to lift the image of Ghana Boxing high.
