Shakhram Giyasov from Uzbekistan proved too strong for Ghana’s Albert Mensah last Friday in their welterweight contest.
Giyasov stopped Mensah in round 3 in a fight which came off at the Shakhram Giyasov in USA.
Giyasov dominated Mensah from round one until stopping him in the aforementioned round. It was the first time Mensah has been stopped.
The Ghanaian accepted the fight on a short notice, however, he failed in his bid to stun the crowd favorite.
Giyasov won bronze medal in the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio.
