The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) in agreement with Ghanaian boxers has reviewed it’s percentage takens from Ghanaian boxers compelling boxers to sign an undertaking to comply with the charges.
Local boxers are still required to pay 5% of their income from fights to the GBA. Meanwhile, Ghanaian boxers who fight outside the shores of Ghana are required to pay 2% of their purse to GBA and 1% to be given to local gyms.
The undertaking according to the Ghana Boxing Authority has become necessary because some boxers fail to pay their percentages after fights outside the country.
The undertaking document gives the GBA full authority to take legal actions against any boxer who fails to comply with the charges after fights.
