Robert “the Stopper” Quaye has maintained his 13th position in the latest rankings as the regular champion Marios Matamba inched into the ratings for the first time behind Quaye in the 14th slot for the month of March 2019.
Richard Lartey maintained his number 14th position in the heavyweight division which houses Anthony Joshua as the champ and Tyson Fury on 4th position .
In the Light Heavyweight (175 lbs), Ghana born Joshua Buatsi is rated number 5.
Middleweight (160 lbs) has Ghana’s WBO Africa champion from the stables of Don’s promotions Obadai Sai as number 15. Demetrius Andrade is the champion in that division.
In the Super Welterweight/Jr. Middleweight (154 lbs),
another Cabic promotions flagship boxer Patrick Allotey is rated number 10.
The International Boxing Federation which houses Ghana’s newest world champ Richard Commey has International Lightweight titlist and current WBO Africa lightweight champion Emmanuel Tagoe of BabyJet promotions as the number 9th best in the Lightweight (135 lbs) and 4th best in the World Boxing
Organisation.
Former world champion Isaac Dogboe is sitting 6th on the WBO Super Bantamweight/Jr. Featherweight(122 lbs) log whilst 14th is occupied by Wasiru Mohammed.
Bantamweight (118 lbs) sees Duke Micah second in the WBO but dropped to 10th in the WBC with Joseph Agbeko 3rd in the WBO as well.
Emmanuel Martey is still the 10th best in Super Middleweight (168 lbs)
which has Gilberto Ramirez as the WBO champion of the world.
Ghana boxing is set for arguably its best year of world champions in 2019 starting with Isaac Dogboe come May 2019.

Not much change from the previous month of February as almost all the boxers maintained their positions though WBC international champion Duke Micah is dropping solely on inactivity.
