Ghanaian Boxer Issaka Issah Honoured In Australia … Celebrating African Australians for their achievements

Issaka Issah aka HARD ONE LEE has been awarded for professional excellence in boxing at the Canterbury League Club Level 1 Blueberry Room in Sydney, Australia on December 8. 2018

He adviced sportsmen to be self motivated, disciplined and determine to make their dream come true.

“I didn’t expect it. It was surprise to me as I was a professional k1 boxer turned into a professional boxer in 2014 in August” he expressed.

Hard One aka Issah fought the best Australian boxers in the lightweight division. He had the chance to fight for the Australian title and the NSW States title.

He is proud to be Ghanaian as Ghana had has produced great boxers like D.K. poison, Azumah Nelson, Ike Bazooka, Nana Yaw Konadu, Alfred Kotey, Joshua Clottey, Joseph Agbeko, Emmanuel Game Boy Tagoe and Issac Dogboe.

“I am very proud to be born in Ghana, and now living in Australia. I will do my best to promote the two nations who have helped me. I know Ghana has many world champions, but there are more to come , more champions would emerge from Ghana” he said.

Issaka Issah, from Cowlane in Accra Central was member of the Power Zone Kick Boxing Club, the leading kick Boxing organization in Ghana, before moving out to become a boxer.
