Ghanaian Super star footballer, Asamoah Gyan and sports philanthropist, Alhaji Inusah Sally had the opportunity to exchange pleasantries via phone with the longest serving black Secretary of State in the history of Illinois Jesse White and the discussion was on the boxing progidy who wants to use boxing to change the world, that all things are possible if you plan and prepare well towards it.
Issues on discussion are now focused on future business models for the star in the making, the 7 -time USA national champion and back to back silver gloves and junior Olympic champion – Joseph Awinongya Jr.
Currently, about 80% of the production is done on the future world champion who is combining sports and education. Jojo Awin as we love to call him in Ghana is ambitious and wants to make better use of his life, hence needs the support of all.
Lead presenter, Samuel Ofosuhene of Boxing Ghana fame and presenter of the Ultimate Sports Show had the opportunity to interview Jesse White, and visited the Bolingbrook Mayor Roger C. Claar.
He met other television organisations also doing a project on Joseph like Whistle Sports which commands over million following on Facebook alone and much higher on other platforms.
On youtube they are called ‘No Days Off’ and it was premiered yesterday.
“There has been representation from the Floyd Mayweather Jr. camp in our interviews chronicling an exciting talent the boy is” said Ofosuhene.
The awards and rewards for Joseph Awinongya Jr just keep coming as he received another honorary award by the Ghana Community in Chicago as part of the 63 Independence Day celebration of Ghana for his outstanding achievements.
Peter Osei, a realtor in Joliet talks so highly of this proud son of Ghana, and trusts the sky is the limit and so do another Ghanaian Accountant Ray Oquaye and Eman Kwei in a show that was hosted on Bolingbrook Community Television with Samuel Ofosuhene as the host. Indeed a classical case of breaking barriers.
The production team is now set to interview the former Chief of the Chicago Police Department.
The Chicago Police Department have honoured Joseph Awinongya Jr as an ambassador for one of it’s flagship programs.
He is set to support market Ghanaian products as could be seen when the team visited the biggest Ghanaian hair and cosmetic shop in Bolingbrook and perhaps the whole of Chicago in Martha’s Hair Shop.
