Ghanaian-American boxer, Joseph Awinongya Jr, shows love to struggling tumor patient, Paulina Anokye

Talk of talent with a class, and you need not go beyond this young boxing prodigy, Joseph Awinongya Jr. A 7x national champion, and a back to back silver gloves king, has extended his compassionate heart beyond the square ring to one Paulina Anokye, who is struggling with a tumor that has affected her spinal cord rendering her incapacitated.

The young pugilism sensation, Joseph Awinongya Jr, who is a 13 yrs old boxing wizkid, based in Joliet, Chicago, decided to reached out to Paulina on the GTV Breakfast Show on July 16th.

Joseph is in a class of his own. He’s got a natural ability, intellect and a compassionate heart with a fervent desire to help others in any form or kind.

The Ghanaian- American who is now a household name in Ghana and some part of the world gained exposure to the broader masses in a short period of time with his world-class talent and abilities in the noble art of pugilism.

The self styled Jojo, heard about Paulina through one Avraham Ben Moshe, a host of a local online show dubbed ‘Common Sense Family (CSF)’ and decided to channel his sponsored funds to the aid of this lady.

The show is set to go down on Thursday the 16th of July on Ghana’s premium national television GTV and airs Live from 7:00 AM Ghana Time (GMT) and 2:00AM Chicago, USA.

Joseph Awinongya Jr is a 3-time Silver Gloves National Champ, 1x USA National Champion, 2x Jr Olympic National Champion, 1x Western Elite Qualifier National Champion, 2x St Louis National Champion, 1x King of the Jungle National Champion, 2 x Wisconsin National Champion, and Power Gloves National Champion, and is currently rated number one and two in the 90 and 95 lbs divisions respectively.

Background:

Paulina Anokye has a tumor that has affected her spinal cord and because of that she can not move her right arm, she can not also walk. She decided to contact Avraham Ben Moshe, the leader and founder of the Common Sense Family to come to her aid with financial support for her upcoming surgery.

Avraham Ben Moshe also responded positively by mobilizing funds for Paulina’s up keep and her upcoming operation through his CSF members home and abroad at the Okomfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, in Kumasi.

Avraham Ben Moshe and his CSF followers are asking all Ghanaians and everyone to come on board to help Paulina Anokye finish her surgery successfully, and the Ghanaian-American boxer has commanded the lead with this giant step by extending some financial support to this lady.

In a similar fashion, the pride of Joliet, Joseph Awinongya Jr is set to invite both Hakeem Lokko and other internet boxing sensation Prince Larbie to the United States later in the year for a training tour, according to some reliable sources.
