The Ghana National Individual Championship organized by the Ghana Boxing Federation has been extended due to large volume of fights and boxers turn up.

The extension was done to help complete the remaining bouts after the original schedule of 3 days.

In addition, the extension is done to protect the boxers from picking up injuries due to daily fights.

Some boxers who spoke to boxinghana.com expressed willingness to fight and noted that their disappointment of the extension is that, they will have to remake their weights which puts a lot of pressure on them.

The competition has been exciting and boxing lovers have strooped to the Accra sports stadium each day to support their favorites.  The high turn up means some boxers depending on their weights class will have to fight a total of 5 bouts to pick up Gold.

The high turn up of boxers surely raises rooms for reforming the way the event is organized.

Should the National Championship has a fight limit?Should only boxers who have fought a total of 5 bouts / more be prerequisite to partake ) ?

Should only Regional Champions compete?

Let’s have your views in the comment sections.
