The Ghana Boxing Authority has sealed a sponsorship deal with Ihsan International, a kit and equipment manufacturing firm based in Pakistan.
The deal, which was sourced by Head of Media at the GBA Mr. Derek Nii Asai Ankrah with the help of Dr Eric Tetteh (Physiotherapy Unit : Korle Bu Teaching Hospital) will see Ihsan International providing a wide selection of kits, equipments and logistic support to the GBA and affiliates whilst the GBA makes Ihsan International its go to source in terms of purchasing boxing equipments.
Branding, marketing and product promotion are key areas in the pact.
On Saturday at the Bukom Boxing Arena, Fight Night 14 of the Ghana Professional Boxing League, Taha Khan; a Representative of the manufacturing outfit and a physician was on hand to offer medical support; augmenting the Authority’s medical staff.
Signatories were Abraham Neequaye: GBA President, Majid Khan: Ihsan International and Derek Nii Asai Ankrah: Head of Media, GBA.
This accord is expected to catalyse growth on the Ghanaian boxing scene.
