Gervonta Davis versus Hector Luis Garcia set for Saturday January 7
The Capital One Arena in Washington come Saturday 7, January 2023, will see American poster boy Gervonta Davis fight his penultimate nemesis Hector Luis Garcia before the ultimate encounter with Ryan Garcia.
In an interview, the 28 year old southpaw explained why he postponed the hugely anticipated Garcia fight.
“I pushed it back for my personal reasons. It wasn’t because I was scared or anything.”
“It was cool. He was prepared for what I was about to do,”
“If he’s open for it, for sure. I’ll do it all night,” said Gervonta. “That’s more money for me. I’ll fight all of them.” when quizzed on the potential Garcia showdown.
A win for Gervonta Davis clears the path for the grudge bout against Ryan Garcia which is set for April.
