The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) has sent a goodwill message to WBO title challenger Isaac “The Royal Storm” Dogboe as he faces champion, Emanuel Navarrete of Mexico for the Super Bantamweight crown on Saturday.
The statement issue by president Peter Zwennes said “the GBA has been monitoring his level of preparation and training this time and believes he has the capabilities to regain the title back. The GBA is confident that Isaac Dogboe will regain his title and continue his forward match towards chalking more success in the ring”.
“The GBA president and the entire executives and well wishers as well as the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union wish Isaac Dogboe a very good luck and victory in upcoming fight on May 11, 2019. This is a crucial chance to redeem his title lost last year. We are fully behind you and eager to see you win this rematch for yourself and Ghana as a whole” he added.
The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) who honored Dogboe with the highest sports reward have also sent well wishes to the former champion to stay on his promise of taking back his title with a knock out win.
The Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) headed by Ben Nunoo Mensah has also wished the former Olympian all the best to win back the WBO Super Bantamweight title.
Before moving to the match venue in Arizona, USA Dogboe assured his fans of going for redemption, and the battle in the ring may be tough, he will rising above the storm and succeed.
