The Ghana Boxing Authority and Imax Media Group expressed profound gratitude to the Chief Executive Officer of Premium Motors, Mr.Jihad Hijazi when he presented two brand new cars to be used to reward the best boxing gymnasium and the overall best boxer in the much anticipated Ghana Professional Boxing League scheduled to kick start on Saturday February 19th.
The Ghana Boxing Authority (GBA) was heavily represented by the President, Abraham Kotei Neequaye and supported by the Vice Chairman of promotions, Micheal Tetteh, Executive Board member, John Manfo and Deputy Communications Director, Eyram Daddy. The group Director of Imax Media Group, Fadi Fatal and the Head of Sports at Max TV, Yaw Ampofo Ankrah represented their outfit (Imax media Group) which is the main promoter of Ghana Professional Boxing League (GPBL).
Mr. Fadi Fatal who is the brain behind the strategic partnership involving Premium Motors and the Ghana Professional Boxing League, commended Mr. Jihad Hijazi for his unflinching support for boxing and sports in general in Ghana. He thanked him for the donation of two brand new Renault Kwid vehicles to the Ghana Professional Boxing League in an effort to support the mission and purpose of Imax Media Group and Ghana Boxing Authority to revive and rebrand boxing in Ghana.
Mr. Jihad Hijazi expressed his joy and excitement to be attracted by Imax Media Group to be part of the Professional Boxing League and also contribute his quota to the development of boxing and potential world beaters in Ghana.
The GBA President, Abraham Kotei Neequaye expressed his gratitude to Mr. Fadi Fatal and Mr. Jihad Hijazi for the support offered professional boxers in Ghana by the donation of two brand new Renault Kwid cars. “These two vehicles will go a long way to add value to the upcoming boxing league. The competing 12 boxing gyms will work very hard to emerge as the ultimate winners of the league and also prepare and present quality boxers who have the ability to emerge as the overall best boxers” – said GBA President.
As part of effort to solidify the relationship between GBA and Premium Motors, the GBA President, after he officially signed the contract, presented a special title belt to Mr. Jihad Hijazi for him to keep it to himself and always remember his contribution to the forward match of boxing in Ghana.
“Mr. Hijazi, your response to support the development of boxing in Ghana is extraordinary and unprecedented. The GBA shall continue to write your name in gold and magnify the name of your company and your corporate personality today and forever” – indicated GBA President.
The GBA President, Abraham Kotei Neequaye urged Ghanaians especially members of the Boxing fraternity to kindly patronise every Renault vehicle and products of Premium Motors to help the company realise its business objective and live to donate more money and cars to Ghana Boxing.
It’s the hope of Ghana Boxing Authority and all boxing promoters that corporate Ghana and all other companies will emulate what Premium Motors has done so as to help the growth of boxing in Ghana.
