Garcia-Radkach card ready as boxers makes weight

Saturday 25 January triple header headlined by Danny Garcia and Ivan Redkach given the green light as all boxers made the weight for night. It is a WBC Silver welterweight title championship and a WBC welterweight world title eliminator coming off at the Barclays centre Brooklyn, New York as the main event.

Garcia 31, (35-2, 21KOs), tilt the scale exactly at the limit 147lbs. Very confident, the two division champion and Philly native, Garcia said he is always happy to come to the Barclays Center because is just home away from home.
“We are going to fight the Danny Garcia fight, he should do his thing but should not get too excited because I’ve got two hammers for him. Garcia expressed when squeezed on what fans should expect on the night. “Don’t try too hard because you are going to knock yourself out, make it an easy night for me” Garcia added.

Redkach 33, (23-4-1, 18KOs) a Ukrainian fighting from Los Angeles also came in at 146.8lbs. Redkach, a brawl boxer says he is not going to do anything different from what he’s
done at training. “Given my game plan and the training camp we had, I’m going to knock Garcia” Redkach said.

The co-feature is a 10-round super welterweight (actually 155-pound catchweight) bout between former titleholder Jarrett Hurd (23-1, 16 KO) and Francisco Santana (25-7-1, 12 KO). Hurd, looking to come back from his first pro defeat to Julian Williams, weighed in at 154.5, with Santana at 155.

A 12-round WBO Super Bantamweight eliminator between Stephen Fulton (17-0, 8 KO) and Arnold Khegai (16-0-1, 10 KO), with the winner in line for a shot at the title held by Emanuel Navarrete. Fulton weighed in at 122, right on the limit, and Khegai at 121.8. The fight will be telecast live on Fox at 7.00pm ET.
