Freddy ‘Pretty Boy’ Kiwitt set to face Johan Perez in a Welterweight contest tonight

After his WBO Global welter title shot in December 2019 of which he lost via unanimous decision to the South African born Luther Clay, the German Liberian born Freddy ‘Pretty Boy’ Kiwitt launched a come back to the square ring last month and is also set to face Johan Perez (26-8-2, 16KOs) from Venezuela.

Having been inactive for more than a year, Freddy Kiwitt did the needful by winning against Romanian Octavian Gratii last month via a unanimous decision in Hamburg, Germany. In a quick succession, the Pretty Boy has landed another bout which is set to be staged from the Universum Gym, Hamburg, Germany in an eight (8) rounds welterweight contest.

On his fight tonight, the Saclepea native in an exclusive chat with BoxinGhana.com said
“I’ll expect an experienced fighter. He’s a 2x world [interim] champion but im very confident I’ll beat him in fashion.” said the Pretty Boy Kiwitt.

On whether fans should expect a knockout, the former WBO European welterweight champion said “I’ll go for a win but if I see the opportunities I’ll go for it”

The fight looks certain to travel full Length as the Pretty Boy is poised to launch a comeback to the high ranks and make an announcement for bigger fights facing a much experienced boxer in Johan Perez who has won the WBA interim world title twice.
