Freddy Kiwitt set to face Luther Clay after a successful Round 5 TKO victory of Nakashidze

‘Pretty Boy’ Freddy Kiwitt put on a masterful performance, using combination of speed, precision, defensive knowledge against 23 year old Georgian Nika Nakashidze when he secured a TKO decision in the 5th round at Velje in Denmark yesternight.

Freddy Kiwitt thus improves his records to  17 wins with 10 KOs and 2 defeats. For the first four rounds, the challenge seemed legitimate as Nika huffed and puffed with some occasional combos of his own with his razor sharp jabs.

The challenge, though was difficult but Freddy took the game to his nemesis on the night with temious combination of punches which unsettled Nakashidze.

Nika Nakashidze decided to end his misery in the 5th round when he finally gave in. Freddy is now set to face Luther Clay, the current WBO Global Welterweight Titlist next month December 19 in the United Kingdom.

The self styled ‘Luth Mtimkulu’ who is a South African native from Matatiele, Eastern Cape but now a naturalized British citizen recently defeated his Italian opposition Dario Morello via a unanimous decision victory on Thursday 19, September 2019, at Tuscany Hall, Florence, Toscana, Italy.

Born Luthando Nqobile Mtimkulu but famed Luther Clay has a record of 12 victories, 5 by way of KOs with a solitary defeat on the road against Russian Vazir Tamoyan in 2007. He must try to best the self styled Pretty Boy who has gone on 5 back to back victories including winning the WBO European belt and the African Boxing Union title respectively in the process come fight night on December 17.

Freddy’s two career defeats to Louis Greene and Akeem Ennis-Brown on points were very controversial and must be hoping to put things right when the opportunity presents itself.
