The Pretty Boy Freddy Kiwitt is back in Accra, Ghana for his first defense, after claiming the vacant European title convincingly against Irishman Paddy Gallagher at the York Hall, Bethnal Green, London on Friday 22, February 2019.
The ‘Pretty Boy’ is preparing feverishly for his fight in Ghana scheduled for August, although Freddy, as we speak, is currently booked by Sebastian Formella (20-0, 10KOs) for sparring sessions ahead of Sabastian’s IBO world championship fight against defending world champion Thulani Mbenge from South Africa.
Interestingly Sebastian Formella is the first WBO Global Champion from Germany in the super welterweight division and is preparing to fight Thulani Mbenge from South Africa, at the CU Arena Neugraben, Hamburg, Germany, come Saturday, 6th July, 2019. Sebastian Formella knows the big task ahead, so has therefore opted to spar with Freddy Kiwitt, who coincidently is equally preparing to defend his European strap that he won in February.
Undoubtedly, Freddy’s stocks are rising in the boxing economy, so is the quality of his sparring opponents. The Liberian born German national is one of the hottest prospects in the welterweight division.
“In full preparations for my next fight in Accra Ghana” Frederick Gloyluo famed Freddy Kiwitt tweeted.
The African warrior, Kiwitt has so far won fifteen of his professional bouts, lost two with eight knockouts in 84 rounds of Professional pugilism action.
BoxingGhana will be publishing an extensive interview with Freddy Kiwitt, the Liberian born German, and the new World Boxing Organisation European Welterweight Champion in the course of the week towards his first defense in Ghana.
