In less than forty eight hours one of Ghana’s finest boxers will be hoping to cement his candidacy to the world title as the mandatory challenge to old foe Robert Easter Junior.

But to attain that, there is only one hurdle standing his way and that is one Alejandro Luna of the USA.

The undefeated Luna is yet to fight a classy and hard hitting puncher like Richard Commey.

Most pundits are already looking beyond this fight in what they perceive as a done deal for Richard to beat Luna.

But the Ghanaian must show respect to the yet to be defeated Luna simply because of his outstanding track record.

At the press today, Richard took the opportunity to say a few things and to acknowledge his Promotor Lou Dibella.

“Thank you Lou for believing in me when others didn’t, I won’t let you down.” Richard quoted.

The former world champion reiterated his gratitude to his motherland Ghana and once again assured them of a victory tomorrow.

“I am grateful to everybody and Ghanaians.”  Richard said.

The fight is an Undercard of Sergey Lipinets vs Mikey Garcia in the IBF world super lightweight division.
