Don’s promotions today organised their final presser and Make-Weight event at the Bukom Boxing Arena where the assembled crack boxers took their turns in medicals and interviews ahead of their “Battle of Titans” at the Bukom Boxing Arena tomorrow the 26th December showdown.
The Chief Executive Officer of the promotional outfit took time to address all boxers and expressed appreciation to all stakeholders for their support. He further encouraged Ghanaian’s especially women to take up the sports of wrestling in the UFC Muay Thai competition.
Lawyer Peter Zwennes commended Don’s promotions for their hard work and ability to assembled good boxers in their maiden promotional debut.
Obodai Sai ( 34-3, 26 KOs) is making a comeback against South African France Ramabolu (10-3, 5KOs) for the vacant World Boxing Organisation Africa Middleweight Title.
The South African is the current International Boxing Federation Continental Africa Super Welterweight champion after defeating fellow South African southpaw Xolani Thathokwakhe Mvubu (11-12-2,4KOs) last year in October.
France Ramabolu defended his IBF African strap successfully against Cristiano Ndombassy of Angola whom he knocked out via a 3rd round TKO.
The South African may be good but has not fought any boxer with the experienced,strength, resilience and calculated like Obodai ‘The Miracle’ Sai.
After his shock defeat to Namibian Walter Kautondokwa, the Ghanaian has bounced back superbly with convincing vintage wins against George Amuzu and Richard Ashong via TKOs.
“I am very ready for this fight. I am going to punish him very well in the ring. I am not going to predict a knockout but am encouraging all my fans and Ghanaian’s to come early in their numbers and watch me deliver in my elements.” Obodai Stated.
