Aborigines Boxing Promotions is set to stage its second boxing event this year after its first from Keta two weeks ago at the Aborigines Beach Resort.
The Promotional syndicate is set for Independence Boxing Night on March 6 from the T-Square Arena, 2nd Lowcost, Aflao, Ghana with headline bouts Faisal Abubakari (11-0, 10KOs) versus Richman Ashley (10-2, 9KOs) in an 8 round Super lightweight contest and Emmanuel Mawuli versus Mohammed Fuseini.
Other exciting bouts on the card will feature Ghana’s Richard Fenyi versus a yet to be announced opponent (TBA) for the vacant WABU lightweight title. The bill will also feature Joseph Akai Nettey versus Isaac Quaye for the National Flyweight title whiles Gabriel Coffie is on the standby to face a yet to be announced opponent.
The Aborigines Boxing event dubbed “Independence Boxing Night” will feature some international boxers; Modibo Keita from Côte D’Ivoire will face Ghana’s Isaac Ahadzi in an 8 rounds middleweight contest, Imorou Hanri Tadja Wali of Benin will face a yet to be announced opponent, Cheik Abdoul Zongo of Burkina Faso is also set for an 8 rounds super lightweight contest with a yet to be announced opponent.
The event will also feature Côte D’Ivoire’s Mohamad Hamze versus Ghana’s Saviour Gad in a 6 rounds middleweight contest. The unbeaten Hamed Abel Nikiema from Burkina Faso will fight Wisdom Agbogbleamenu in another middleweight contest (6 rounds). Finally, Cameroonian Yaya Kone is set for his pro debut with a yet to be announced opponent.
The Independence Boxing Night which is sponsored by The Volcano Team (TVT), Abubakar Sadik Akake and Isurfu Kinda is going for a cool 10GHc for Regular and 20GHC for VIP tickets.
