Speaking about their participation, Coach Frank Asante Addo, a recently employed  Coach to the Region by the National Sports Authority explained that they are okay with their performance in the tournament so far. They are optimistic of making it pass the preliminary stages.

Currently, four (4) of their team members have been defeated and they have 2 left in the competition.

After the competition, Team Volta hopes to regroup back at their various clubs and train again ahead of future tournaments. They hope to participate in all the upcoming tournaments of 2022 and beyond.

Coach Frank further explained that they need financial support and motivation to achieve more. He also called on various well to do individuals to support the team with logistics such as rings, boxing gloves, bandages and pads to help expand the number of clubs in the Region. Finally he explains that with more support, they can hold residential training camps and win medals.
