BoxingGhana.com can exclusively confirm that Ghana’s Prince Oko Nartey (6-0,5 KOs) got issued his visa at long last and is finally ready to set off tonight ahead of his clash against Germany’s James Kraft (15-0-1,9KOs) come Saturday the 15th of June at Work Your Champ Arena, Hamburg, Germany.
As at this morning when BoxingGhana contacted team Oko Nartey, they were yet to be issued the German visa by the German consulate in Ghana.
“The embassy is supposed to release the visa today, so we’re working on that. Yeah, everything is intact, just waiting to get the visa and leave by tomorrow evening. Let’s wait till 12:pm ” Prince Oko Nartey said.
It was unclear what was happening at the German embassy for a bout sanctioned by
Bund Deutscher Berufsboxer and being promoted by Universum Promotion headed by Ismael Oezen.
But as at 12:00 pm this afternoon, Team Oko Nartey got back to us with a positive feedback.
“Yes BoxingGhana, the people just issued us the visa”
According to sources, the document was submitted last month the 28th of May, 2019 but it is unclear why the delayance from the embassy. However, what is important for Ghanaians is the fact that, One of Ghana’s exciting prospects gets the opportunity to showcase to the world what he is made of come Saturday the 15th of June.
