Exclusive : Duke Micah is set to defend his belt on 21st April in New York

Ghana’s Duke Akuettteh ‘Baby face terminator’ Micah is set to defend his WBC International bantamweight title come Saturday the 21st of April in New York City, USA.

Duke’s last fight was against Jose Santos Gonzalez (23-4, 0) in November the 18 of last year whom he dispatched convincingly.

Coincidentally, that was his debut fight on an American soil.

The Ghanaian whose record stands 21 wins and 18 KO’s with zero defeat  is set to go at it again against a yet to be known opponent.

Boxingghana.com spoke with his management led by astute boxing promoter Michael Amoo-Bediako and he re-choed Duke’s preparations towards the upcoming fight.

“Duke is ready to fight any opponent, the date is set for the defence of his WBC int. bantamweight title and is next month the 21st of April” the ever amiable promoter confidently echoed.

Duke is such a charismatic fighter and a delight to watch. He commands some wonderful reflexes and likes to entertain the fans.

At his young career, He is one of the most avoided boxers of his time.
