Peter Khan, Manager of Emmanuel Tagoe says, that considering the fact Tagoe was out of the ring longer than Garcia, it was a good performance by his fighter, where the Ghanaian displayed that he has a tough chin;

“Emmanuel went 12 rounds with Ryan. Emmanuel was out of the ring longer than Ryan so I think that’s a victory. I think we learned that Emmanuel has a chin, he took some big shots tonight.”

Prior to Tagoe’s fight with Garcia, he had been out of the ring for more than a year having fought Mason Menard on November 27th, 2020 as against that of the winner on the night ‘King Ry’s January 2nd, 2021.

Tagoe’s manager Peter Kahn who doubles as the manager of current undisputed lightweight champion George Kambosos, therefore expressed his satisfaction with Tagoe’s performance.

The boxing guru has therefore revealed that he’ll meet with Tagoe’s promoter to discuss the next move for the former IBO world champion.

“It was a good fight. We’ll talk to DiBella and see what’s next.”

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Tagoe has since arrived in the capital Accra-Ghana to a surprising heroes welcome.
