Emmanuel Tagoe (28-1,14 KOs) will return to the ring come Saturday the 20th of October against the Namibian Moses Paulus (40-4, 24 KOs) who arrived yesternight at the Kotoka International Airport.

This is Tagoe’s first outing since January when he successfully defended his IBO strap against Fernando Saucedo, which he won via a technical knockout.
But after deciding not to fight Fedor Papazov as directed by the sanctioning body, the Ghanaian was eventually stripped of his World title strap.
Since that episode the self styled ‘Game Boy’ has gone through a series of transformational changes in management and coaching.
Now astute boxing persona who equally doubles as the first vice of the Ghana Boxing Authority, Mr Emmanuel Neequaye is the new Chief Executive Officer of BabyJet Promotions with Coach Adama Addy as Tagoe’s new trainer.
The two boxers have a lot at stake as winning WBO Africa lightweight title puts them in good ratings and an opportunity to have a go at the world title.
Moses Paulus, was the holder of the WBO Africa belt until he got defeated by Raymundo Beltran for the world title in January 2018.
“I held the WBO Africa lightweight title before, but the title went vacant when I lost to Beltran, so I’m going to reclaim it now. I am ready, I have already started preparing so you can just expect a good result from me.” Moses reiterated.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s ‘king of trashtalking,’ Emmanuel Tagoe is promising fans of going all out with tact and finesse come Saturday.
The Press conference cum Weigh-in is on Friday at a yet to be named venue.
