Former IBO champion Emmanuel ‘the Game Boy’ Tagoe is poised to delight his fans and the good people of Ghana come Saturday the 20th day of October 2018 at the Mecca of African boxing the Bukom Boxing Arena in Accra-Ghana when he takes on Moses Paulus of Namibia for the vacant WBO Africa lightweight title.

Speaking in an interview, the much reformed and refined Tagoe under new technical directions in Abraham Neequaye and three time world Champion, the very astute Coach Adama, is promising Ghanaians of a slug fest come fight night.

“I am going to grant my beloved Ghanaian’s what they have been asking of me all this while, I am going to box and brawl just for them.” Tagoe said.

“I really am going to show my people (Ghanaians) the different me. I am glad to have in my team a three time world Champion Coach. I am training well towards the fight and paying attention to the technical aspect that Coach Adama is adding to my game.”

“I have listened to Ghanaians and what they are asking of me, I believe they have my best interest at heart that is why am equally going to pay heed to their advise. I am kindly asking of them to come watch and support the new Emmanuel Tagoe.” Tagoe told BoxingGhana.

Emmanuel Tagoe is such a resilient fighter, his tenacious spirit would not just allow him to back down on what he knows best ‘confident trash talker.’ But make no mistake, it is just business nothing more.

He goes into the fight hoping to better his current record of twenty nine fights with twenty eight victories and a loss.

Against a very stubborn Moses Paulus of Namibia who had a World title shot against the just defeated Raymundo Beltran, it is expected to be a tough encounter. But age is not on the side of the 40 year old Paulus.

One thing that the October bout promises is the true and refined Emmanuel Tagoe and well meaning Ghaianain must make a point to attend.
