Emanuel Navarrete set to face Jeo Santisimo from Phillipines under WilderFury2 rematch this Saturday
The WBO World Super Bantamweight champion, Emanuel “Vaquero” Navarrete (30-1, 26KOs) will be defending his title for the 5th time after winning it from Ghana’s Isaac Dogboe in December 2018 via a UD.
The 25yr old Mexican is set to face his Filipino customer in Jeo Santisima, 23yrs (19-1, 16KOs) this weekend under a PPV fight between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury at the MGM Grand, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Jeo Santisima last lost a fight on 14th May, 2014 against Marlon Arcilla (9-7-2) which was his 5th pro fight. Santisima has gone on a 14 fight winning streak since losing to Arcilla and has therefore earned him the 3rd ranked boxer by WBO in the super bantam division.
All odds are against Jeo Santisima as Navarrete has a better reach advantage of 72″/183cm compared to Santisima’s 67½″/172cm. Even though Navarrete has more experience with 31 fights to his credit, Joe Santisima must never be underestimated in this important fight.
Will a new king be crowned come fight night or there’s going to be another successful defence by the Mexican? Well, the verdict is just 5 days away.
Wishing both boxers all the best.
