Big name fighters including the Bukom Banku silencer, Bastie Samir, are set to be presented by the blockbuster promotional and management outfit, the Don’s, as the freshest addition to its stables.
According to sources, the three boxers namely, Bastie Samir (17-0-1, 16 KOs) – undefeated Light heavyweight, Patrick Ayi (20-0-12 KOs) – Super Featherweight and Theophillus Tetteh (11-1-10 KOs) – Bantamweight are all expected to pen their signatures on a three year deal come Tuesday 9 July, 2019, 10:00 am prompt at the premises of Don’s Promotions, Adabraka.
The novelty signature event is expected to attract a lot of press attention as always with Don’s events.
Don’s Promotions may have just about to sign the next great boxing superstars in these three boxers, especially Bastie Samir and Patrick Ayi.
Bastie has tasted the American market and his talent is obviously impressive. He has the everyman quality that screams marketability, a typical example was his lead commercial role in Globacom television advertisement.
The northern Ghana native is regarded as one of the sport’s elite practitioners and has massive following in Ghana after beating Braimah Kamoko aka Bukom Banku.
Looking at the massive investment by the bank-roller of Don’s Mr. Michael Nii Yarboi Annan and especially with the introduction of Television and online ticketing, Ghana boxing is about to witness a new face in terms of coverage, branding and promotions.
