Mental health is defined as the level of psychological well-being or an absence of mental illness. It is the state of someone who is “functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioural adjustment” and involves the emotional, psychological, and social well-being of individuals. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices.
In a country where mental health is viewed with some stigmatization, the move by the promotional outfit is a step in the right direction towards demystifying the perception.
Code named “Promoting boxing whiles supporting mental health.” The move is a step in the right direction.
Don’s Promotions are set to host their second bill come August the 9th at the La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, christened ‘The Battle For Supremacy’ which sees the likes of Obodai Sai, Nathaniel Kpakpo Allotey, John Laryea, and their newest sensation, Nigeria’s Felix Williams all fighting on the night.
