Derek Chisora defeats Joe Joyce by a unanimous decision

Derek Chisora secured a unanimous point decision against Joe Joyce in a 97-92 on one card and 96-94 (twice) at the 02 Arena

Indeed, what a performance that was by the 40 year old Derek Chisora who is set to retire after his next two fights.

The 10 rounder, saw some wonderful exchanges in a slugfest of a fight.

“I haven’t boxed for a year, but I had to dig deep,” Chisora said on TNT Sports.

“I was fit, but Joe is a good fighter. I knew I was going to drop him at one stage.

“I want to thank Frank Warren for keeping faith with me. I thought it was a good way to end my career with the man I started with.

“It’s not my last fight – I’ve got two more. It’s my last fight in the O2 Arena. I’ll go to Manchester in December.” Chisora expressed.
