According to Deontay Wilder, his re-match against the self styled “Gypsy King” Tyson Fury is officially on and the deal is believed to have already been signed with the second match-up expected to take place in the first quarter of next year 2020.
“All contracts have been signed already; it’s officially on,” The self styled Black Bomber posted on his twitter handle.
“As I always say I’m the realest champion in the business and as I’ve mentioned before I must handle all my controversial fights ASAP.
“By no means am I looking past Ortiz. He’s a dangerous fighter but I am looking through him.” Wilder stated.
The American is expected to face Cuban Louis Ortiz for the second time then after, Tyson Fury II. Fury himself faces German Tom Schwarz in Las Vegas, on 15 June.
“Tyson is focused on his fight on 15 June and any announcements about future fights will be in due course.” Frank Warren said when quizzed on the subject.
It comes at a time when Anthony Joshua decided to shift attention to his fellow Brits after persistently calling to Wilder for a potential unification bout but to no avail.
