British boxer and self styled ‘Gypsy King’ Tyson Luke Fury (29-0-1, 20 KOs) says American heavyweight poster boy ciand the current WBC world champion Deontay Leshun Wilder (40-0-1,40 KOs) missed the best chance to beat him in their first fight when he was on a recovery state.

“Deontay (Wilder)  doesn’t fancy fighting me again.”

“He (Deontay Wilder) knows he’s missed the best chance he’ll ever have of beating me, in our first fight.” Fury remarked.

“If he couldn’t do it when I was just coming back from that long lay off, fat and out of fighting condition then he doubts he ever will.

“He also knows he’s not getting any better at 34, that he’s on the way down now and coming to the end of his career.

The British professional boxer who in 2015, won the unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, IBO, The Ring magazine, and lineal titles against the then invincible champion Wladimir Klitschko in Germany, laughed off speculations that he was going to pullout of the bout.

“Me pull out? I’m a born fighting man. Absolutely, my next fight after I have some fun and keep myself active in WWE will be Deontay in February. Unless of course something goes drastically wrong.” Fury bullishly expressed.

Recall how their first showdown ended in a controversial split draw after the two went the distance at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 1, 2019, which meant American maintained his  World Boxing Council world heavyweight title.

Wilder is scheduled to fight Luis Ortiz next month Nov. 23 before a possible decided against Fury next year 2020.
