Self styled, “The Black Bomber” America’s WBC world heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder was at his bullish best when explaining his position not to sign the DAZN deal which meant a fight with British boxer Anthony Joshua was far from eminent.

” I would tell the fans to relax,” said Wilder to PBC. “This is my career. I don’t go to your job and tell you how you should ask for a raise because you work hard or that you shouldn’t because you don’t. So, don’t do it to me.

Just be happy that I’m in this position right now because I’ve been through so much in my career.

“The more eyeballs, the better, especially because I give you your money’s worth. I’m the people’s champion.

“Some fail to realize that we have our own money, our own networks with a big audience, and a big stable of heavyweights.

“They always saying I’m stuck, what is my next move? But the question is, what are these other guys going to do? I’ve got a lot of options here with heavyweights at PBC.” Wilder expressed.

The American was left disappointed when British fighter Tyson Fury opted out of the rematch by signing a deal with a rival company reported to be in a range £80m. But Deontay is preparing to ease the frustration of not fighting Fury on Dominic  Breazeal come Saturday the 18th of May, 2019.

“I’m using Breazeale as a guinea pig. He’s an experiment for what I’m about to do, I’m breaking myself down to the basics and building myself up.

“We haven’t got on too well in the past, either. We’ve got a situation going on and the only way to solve it without any outside altercations is to have it in the ring.

“That’s why I love my occupation. I’m able to get upset and mad at a person. And if I want revenge or to do something about it, I can do that.

“But the best thing is I get paid a lot of money to do it.

“I’m in a blessed, amazing position. I can’t wait to fight my little guinea pig,” Deontay Leshun Wilder stated.

With his 41 bouts out of 135 rounds of pugilistic action  which culminated in percentage ratio of 95%, the 33 year old Wilder must impress come fight night against
Dominic Breazeale (20-1,18 KOs) whose sole career defeat came at the hands of Anthony Joshua in 2016 via a 7th round TKO when he attempted the
International Boxing Federation World Heavyweight Title.

Barclays Center, Brooklyn, New York, USA, next month, will entertain a serious championship contest between two arch nemesis.
