With regard to WBC’s Pre-weigh ins at 30, 14 and 7 days prior to a fight required in order to prevent sudden dehydration that causes serious damage to boxers, Saul Canelo Alvarez and Daniel Jacobs meets 30 days weight requirement.
The fight scheduled for May 4 at the T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas, Nevada and promoted by Eddie Hearn Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy. The fight will be exclusively broadcast live by DAZN.
Alvarez 28, (51-1-2, 35KOs) the IBF, WBC and the WBA super world middleweight champion came in at 168.2lbs meeting the 176lbs weight of 30 days weight for the middleweight division.
Jacobs 32, (35-2, 29KOs) former WBA middleweight champion also tilt the scales at 175lbs just a pound below the 30 days limit of 176.
This is a demonstration of the preparedness of both boxers to face off in the ring come May 4th at the T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas.
