Ghana’s Richard Commey(25-2, 22 KOs)is eyeing a rematch with IBF World lightweight champion Robert Easter Jr. but before getting that opportunity he must defeat Mexico’s Alejandro Luna (22-0, 15 KO’s).
In September 2016, Commey failed to win the then vacant IBF World lightweight strap when he lost via a disputed split decision against Easter.
Commey will face the unbeaten Mexican this Saturday in Texas, USA. It will be on the undecard of Sergey Lipinets-Mikey Garcia IBF World super lightweight clash and it will be televised by Show Time.
On Thursday, Commey and Luna met each other for the first time at the final presser ahead of the clash.
