There is no doubt that the current composition of the GBA lead by Lawyer Peter Zwennes has seen a lot of resurgence in Ghana boxing.
The sport that hitherto was competing with the heart of the nation football, during the years of Azumah Nelson and Ike Quartey has finally resurrected from it’s slumber.
Boxing supporting in Ghana has even gone a notch higher, Now we have the Ghana Boxing Supporters Union (GBSU) based in Accra.
There is also the very modern sports(boxing) edifice at the Trust Emporium which houses the great Bukom Boxing Arena.
