According to Matchroom Sports promoter and bankroller Eddie Hearn, Deontay Wilder must take charge of his career and accept the invitation to unify with Anthony Joshua.

“[I’m] gutted, I’m just glad now that finally people are starting to see’, the Matchroom promoter told iFL TV.

“[It’s] depressing. I can’t be bothered to talk about it. I just hope the public have seen the truth.”

“So we’re not just talking about 2020, we might be talking about 2021 when Wilder’s available.

It’s bulls*** for the sport of boxing it really is and it’s annoying because certain people without the brain capacity presume that Joshua doesn’t want to fight Wilder – you couldn’t be more wrong.

“Take control of your own career. He always says in interviews, ‘these promoters don’t let you do this and you’ve got to be in control of your own career’.

“If you want the fight, take control of your own career.”

Meanwhile the WBC champion is predicting mayhem in his upvoninv clash against Dominic Breazeale on May 18.

“When I take a fight personal, something magical is going to happen,” Wilder said. “I’ve been up at 2:00 AM, hitting the heavy bag for 12 rounds straight. And still breathing smoothly. This is going to be a disaster for Breazeale.

“Enjoy this one, because it’s going to be a massacre. May 18 will be a beautiful day for me. A beautiful day to see what I’m planning to do for the sport of boxing.” Wilder expressed.
