Caleb Plant faces Vincent Feigenbutz in a mandatory title defence Feb 15

The IBF Super middleweight champion Caleb Plant will go at a second defence of his title in his own hometown Nashville, Tennessee at the Bridgestone Arena.

“We are just overjoyed, we started here over eighteen years ago and we are just happy to be here to put on a show for our hometown” Richie Plant father and co-trainer of Plant said.

Plant 27, (19-0, 11 KOs) who won the IBF super middleweight title January 2019 on a Unanimous Decision in a mandatory challenge fight against Jose Uzcategui dropped Mike Lee four times en-route a round three TKO at the MGM Grand Garden Arena July 2019 in his first defense on an under card of the Pacquiao -Thurman fight.

Plant talks about the opportunity to be fighting in front of a friendly crowd and what we can expect to see on the night. ” I’m excited to bring a world title home and it is right here at the Bridgestone Arena Nashville February 15. It has been a dream of mine since….It’s a dream we have been working at long time like my father” Plant said.
“I’m working very hard that my hand be raised not only so but in a spectacular fashion and I’m gonna do so before the twelve rounds because i will be spicing with a knockout” plant added.

Feigenbutz 24, (31-2, 28 KOs) German national ranked three by the IBF will be looking to snatch the title from Plant in their mandatory clash. Feigenbutz pounded Cesar Nunez and knocked him in the eighth round to win a vacant IBO international middleweight title.

Plant’s commitment to putting up a spectacular performance in front an expectant partisan home crowd is blatant with an accompanying rhetorics of respect and caution when FIGHT HUB asked whether fans should expect war. ““No. No. It’s not gonna be a war. He’s rough, he’s tough…I know he’s a strong guy, I know he’s trying to knock me out, he’s looking to spoil this moment for me. But that’s not gonna happen. I’ma box him up, I’ma embarrass him, then I’m gonna punish him, and then I’m gonna stop him.
“This fight’s not going 12 rounds so either he can wave the white flag or I’ll wave it for him just like I did for Mike Lee.” Plant expressed.
